Acrobath® Facade Cleaning Robot

Product Description

“Acrobath” would be able to move according to 2D structure which would be built vertically on façade of buildings. This system cleans the target area part by part and target area is identified by sensors or defined by programmer (during the first installment process). Device cleans the expected part and moves to the second target identified/defined. Cleaning process consists of two steps; first one is steam cleaning and then wiping. Steam cleaning is basically cleaning technique with using water vapor. After cleaning with vapor a wiping process would be complete the cleaning task of the facade. “Acrobath” is a commercial product and all systems must be designed and formed accordingly. This system is defined according to technical and commercial necessities and following subsystems are envisioned as design steps

  • 2D mechanical movement structure

  • Microcontroller based automation

  • Sensing & control interface

  • Steam cleaner

  • Wipers

Dimensions are 50cm x 50cm x 30cm (WxDxH) and weight is approximately 15kg for moving part. Dimensions and weight of the final package differ between (+,-) 0-20 cm and (+,-) 0-5kg according to the orders.
